Understanding Sine and the difference between Sine and linear
Linear motion is constant while Sine changes speed so in the first image where we are testing the difference, when its switched to linear mode, the face is a constant movement back and forth. When you switch the mode to sine, the face is a lot smoother, slowing down when its going to go back in the direction it came from. This leads to a much smoother transition than the glitchy constant linear motion.
My 1280 X 720 links and explanation of techniques
Horror: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwFuzd_y9Pg&feature=youtu.be
For my horror film, my chosen editing technique was close ups in time with the music.
Intensity: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g-A-OfFRpA&feature=youtu.be
For my intensity film, my chosen editing technique was match cuts which could also fade in some points. Repeating and slow motion were also key editing techniques.
Enjoyment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LlttPqc4t8&feature=youtu.be
For my enjoyment film, my chosen editing technique was slow motion. I've also used repeating to my advantage and when repeating the film goes slow motion.

My 3 videos completed - Project One
Links to YouTube clips of scenes:
All clips are still needed adjustments to them here just to see my development.
looks like by watching them something has gone wrong when exporting them size wise.. So going to have to fix that up. (The hand in has the videos at 1280X720).
My theme was animation ( big buck bunny), three chosen editing techniques I used for each of my film were:
-Close ups
-Match cuts/ repeating actions
-Slow motion
Horror scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGR0BFARdGE&feature=youtu.be
Enjoyment scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCTZxLUuRns&feature=youtu.be
Intensity scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tYE0hMAUpE&feature=youtu.be
I have played around a lot with editing techniques and also matching to audio to the clip itself. Fading and match cuts were my key element in this project and also slow motion was very important in my clips. My three clips consist of atmospheres such as horror, enjoyment and intensity.
Enjoy!

Little plan
Step one: Watch movie
Step two: Work on horror
-quick cuts of editing can represent the adrenaline of such
situations.
-Doing this frequently (calm, horror, calm, horror...)
-Lighting is perhaps the most important aspect of suspense
Step three: work on intense
-close ups, extreme close ups
-slow motion
- Quick cuts back n forth
Step four: work on enjoyment
-Happy moments with mid shots, and maybe establishing shots
- smooth transitions
(Additional information to be included with more techniques.)
