Update with project/ Research proposal

To make my project clear, I have always wanted to control an RC Car without touching anything at all and just let it drive around. But at the same time i was thinking, what if i controlled this RC Car with a mobile phone key pad so it looks like I'm txting but really I'm controlling this RC Car. If I have time I'm going to add a vibration sensor to sense that I hit an object. And when I do hit an object an alarm goes off saying I've done something wrong.
So there it is! My project!

I also have a back up idea if I cant get a certain thing correct in my first idea I'll move onto it ...
The idea is to have a RC Car that doesn't like the light and wants to hide in the darkness. So in this I would use a LDR to sense the light and a piezo to alarm off when light is struck meaning that there is a problem (Light) with the RC. (AKA the light struck on it and wants to hide in darkness).
